Is the storage you get at the beginning of the game all you get (128)? They said it would get more expensive, but I had them all purchased after just a few trips to the fishing hole. You really can't have too much stuff at +8 equipped (keep in mind I don't have anything even close to that high yet). The issue with them is that as they are so powerful, they are also SOOO expensive. It won't save you if you keep getting hit though. So from 10% life to 100% life in less then 10 seconds. Looks like auto-heal, if you can get it to +8, will completely heal you in less then 5 seconds if you don't get hit for 4 seconds. I probably was spoiled and have to get more used to using my pod's ranged attack (the proton pack). Honestly, I really like the Shockwave chip, a lot more then I would have thought. The 90% drop rate would probably make getting good drop rate chips easier.Īs the chips start getting more powerful, they will also start getting more costly, and then I'll have to start choosing what I really need to keep. I don't think I have many/any +4 chips yet, so I've been selling most drops that are +10 cost. I was mostly just killing things and accepting whatever dropped.

Haven't gotten to a point where I'm farming for specific chips (other then the Deadly Heal/Offensive Heal which comes off a android body that keeps respawning). It's the subsequent playthroughs where things get really good.

IMO, the plot is top-notch but you don't really see that with full clarity during PT1. When would you stop being surprised at seeing a talking dolphin? They may both be machines but the androids were human's creations and, thus, are more than "just machines". Replace "android" and "machine" with "white" and "black" and consider them the way humans often consider ethnicity.

How to talk about this without spoiling anything? Answers will be given but maybe not the answers you were expecting or wanting? I guess it all depends on how many of the plot holes are foreshadowing, and how many are bad writing. I just can't tell if this is a super in depth well written mystery, or a really bad sci-fi.

It seems that the commander might be hiding something. Why does 9S keep acting so surprised at robots showing emotion when he has already met with ones that do? Like, he seems surprised at a robot seeking revenge wondering if they could have a concept for that when he ALREADY got uncomfortable talking about where children come from with another robot.Īlso, so far there seems to have been two missions where the information I've been given was misleading or wrong.
And why did the robots look human? Wouldn't they consider that looking like androids? I don't know if everything will be explained in the future, or if it all just handwaved. The plot holes in this are absolutely crazy though. The aliens have been dead the whole time.
